The recent Community Easter Event at Dawson Park Community Garden run by SAMH was a resounding success, bringing together families and local organisations in a joyful celebration of togetherness and giving. Giving Back were delighted to see 694 attendees, alongside dedicated staff and volunteers. In total 201 families joined in for a day filled with fun, learning and community spirit. The event created a warm and inclusive environment where children and adults alike could connect celebrate, and make lasting memories. We are incredibly grateful to have been apart of this event .

Giving Backs Time To Talk day
Our “Time to Talk” event delivered by Giving back was a meaningful initiative dedicated to promoting mental health and wellbeing within the community. The event provided a safe welcoming space where individuals could openly discuss their experiences and access professional support. Counselling sessions were made available to the public through Natural Space Counselling offering guidance reassurance, and practical strategies for those in need. By encouraging open conversations and reducing stigma, the event empowered attendees to prioritise their mental health and seek support with confidence. It was a truly impactful day reflecting our outgoing commitment to fostering a compassionate, supportive, and resilient community.
