Just under 700 people attended this event on a lovely sunny Easter Monday! Giving Back provided free facepainting and handed out snacks. A fabulous day for everyone!

Giving Back recently held their AGM for 2026 looking back at the year and the success!! What a year !!!

Giving Back staff completed an event with the young people on the Youth Employability Programme and their family, friends and partners. This was a great afternoon with positive stories and discussions on development and progress.

Giving Back has now received planning permission for Sakura in Dawson. We are very excited and have now put in for the building warrant.

Giving Back attended the Female Business Awards in Manchester on 14 November 2025 and are so proud to have been selected as Runner Up in the Services to the Local Community category.

Giving Back completed community events to engage with young people and families, promoting the Neuro Aids that are being developed by the young people on the Youth Employability Programme.

Giving Back completed community engagement events over the summer around the new café that will be coming to Dawson, Fiona the manager worked with community members to develop the logo for the café/hub.

Giving Back completed 4 Community events over the summer, handing out free food and snacks, face painting and completing Art activities with 581 community members.

Giving backs Senior Project Developer has been working with Shine Like a Diamond to register as a CIC. This has now been completed. this project is amazing and is working to assist families with Neurodivergent children.

Giving Back attended the Gala day and showed off their jewellery and posters designed by community and staff to help raise funds for the charity.

SAMH, Giving Back with other community groups and services completed an Easter event in Dawson Park. We saw 394 people (185 adults, 209 children) attending the event enjoying the free face painting, food, football, volley ball, easter egg hunt craft activities and more. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and helped out on the day.

Giving Backs Graphic Designer has been working with Nurturing Flows to design their new logos for their projects. They have now been agreed and we think they look amazing. well done to everyone involved.

Giving back completed 4 Family fun days with amazing sports coaches on the beach over the summer, 423 people attend the free events.

Sakura completed a community engagement event to develop an awareness of the services, groups and assistance the community needs for the opening of the café. please click the link bellow to read the report.

Giving Back completed a co-production online questionnaire to give local people the opportunity to have their say on any future development of the castle and to co-produce the possible programme of activities and community events on offer at Broughty Castle, while meeting the outcomes outlined in the Local Community Partnership Plan. Giving Back has now handed in a Proposal to Dundee City Council regarding the future of the castle.
